Mosaic Tiles
The
size or shape of a room will often suggest the choice of
colour or pattern of mosaic you choose. Lighter colours and
smaller patterns help create the illusion of space but darker
and bolder ones can also be used to dramatic and pleasing
effect.
These
classic mosaics draw their inspiration from patterns that
first saw the light of day in the antique Roman and Moorish
worlds. To this day the 'fan' design still appears in many
forms throughout the Latin world but originally represented
a water's edge whilst the elegant geometric patterns centered
around a small tessera spring from the Middle East. All
of these designs have been chosen to perfectly complement
today's kitchens and bathrooms.
Rustic
Mosaic Tiles
Smooth-edged crocks of broken stones loosely arranged into interlocking
shapes. It would be surprisingly difficult to achieve this seemingly
artless and random effect with individual pieces. But of course, you
don't have to! 3 colourways available in sheet or border format.
